Volunteering is a gift of time..

Walk-ins always welcome.

Saturday groups of 10 or more, by appointment only. 

The following policies are in the place to ensure volunteer safety:
  • Ages 8 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult. 

  • Ages 14 to 18 years do not require an adult to be present. Must have volunteer application signed by a parent/guardian. 

  • Youth group ratio (13 years and younger) is 1 adult per 8 youth. 

  • Volunteers must wear long pants, jeans or capris. No tank tops, tube-tops, spaghetti straps etc.) 

  • Volunteers wear comfortable walking shoes (no sandals, flip flops, open-toed shoes). 

The food you work to collect will go directly to those in need.

volunteer opportunities

When you donate your time, you become a partner in the fight against hunger.

Types of Work:

  • Sort Food: Volunteers assess and sort boxes of food items and household products that have been donated. Pre-sort, repack, re-label all to prepare for our partner agencies to distribute the food.
  • Pull Orders: Volunteers fill orders placed by our partner agencies so that they can serve the people in need. Some heavy lifting may be required.
  • Office: Volunteers assist with general administrative tasks including filing, data entry, mailings and other light office duties. Computer experience in Microsoft Office Suite is helpful.
  • Special Events: Volunteers help staff our special events.
